Something shifted. 

What began with small, precise, detailed currency art. An ordinary object transformed through patience, colour and imagination. Working at that scale taught me precision, but eventually, the ideas and energy within me began asking for more.

Since I was young, I was always in my own world, a creative soul, different from the bunch. I took my childhood worries, and turned to my imagination - escaping the world and drawing in my notebooks whenever I had the chance. In school, I had to put my art dream aside. Focusing on sciences I became a Chemist and worked the 9-5 corporate life. Which was all great on paper, but there was always a deep burning desire that I was meant to be an artist. I followed my dream and took a leap of faith, transmuted my energy and began to express my creative soul again. ​​​​​​

 

There is a particular feeling I keep returning to. It is difficult to explain because it arrives before words. It is the feeling of coming home to yourself - the quiet moment when the noise softens, time loosens its grip and you remember the essence of who you are beneath it all. 

It can appear while sunlight moves across a familiar room, in the simple and quiet moments you share with your loved ones, sitting beneath a tree or being completely absorbed by the sound of the rain.

That is the true joy I want my art work to hold.

It is not the temporary happiness of acquiring more. It is a deeper richness, the freedom to be present, the curiosity to see the world freshly and the inner-child wonder that allows an ordinary day to become abundant.​​
