Rich in Life
Updated: 3 hours ago
A reflection on time, wealth, love, and the little things that make life rich.
Taking time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with life.
Some seasons are for creating. Some are for learning, growing, and planting seeds. And sometimes, we have to remind ourselves that not everything needs to happen all at once.

Introducing Rich in Life
Rich in Life is a collection of hand-painted artwork on authentic U.S. currency.
Each piece is a reminder of the little things in life that make it rich.
Time is the greatest currency.
Time with our parents as they grow older. Time to watch dogs run around without a care in the world. Time for slow mornings, good coffee, and the freedom to simply be.
The older we get, the more I realize how much these little things mean.
We spend so much of our lives chasing the things we think will make us happy, sometimes forgetting the things that already do.
And perhaps the greatest luxury of all is having the time and freedom to enjoy them.
Why Money?
Money is something we exchange every day. It moves between people, carrying value and possibility.
Through my HeArt, I take something we traditionally associate with financial wealth and give it another meaning.
A little paint, imagination, and a different perspective can transform an ordinary dollar bill into a reminder of something much greater.
Art as a Little Reminder
I don't believe every painting needs to have a grand explanation.
Sometimes, a little character, a familiar story, or a playful scene can remind us of something we've forgotten along the way.
That's what I hope these pieces will do.
Make someone smile. Spark a childhood memory. Remind someone to call their parents, spend time with their loved ones, or appreciate the little things in life.
Some of the messages are obvious. Others are quietly hidden, waiting to be discovered.
And I love that everyone may see something different.
A Little More About My Why
One of the reasons I continue to pursue this journey as an artist is because I want to buy back time.
Time with my family, my aging parents, and the people I love.
I also dream of creating a life where I can help more animals, especially dogs who don't have a voice of their own.
These dreams are still growing, and I'm still learning how to bring them to life.
But every painting I finish, and every piece that finds a new home is another little step forward.
I'm learning to trust the process, have faith in the seeds I'm planting, and remember that growth doesn't always happen where we can see it.
Letting the Art Find Its People
For a long time, I've had a habit of keeping my creations close.
Sometimes it's easier to keep painting than to put the work out there.
But I've been reminding myself that once a painting is finished, it deserves a life beyond my studio.
Its own journey. Its own story. Its own home.
Maybe one day it will hang in someone's office and remind them why they're working so hard. Maybe it will become a gift between two people who share a special memory. Or maybe it will simply make someone smile every time they walk past it.
I don't know where each piece will end up.
And I think that's part of the beauty of creating.
Here's to a Rich Life
This collection is a small celebration of the things that make life meaningful.
Family, love, wonder, freedom, time, and all the little moments in between.
With love and gratitude,
Lily
